Einkorn Pizza Crust

This pizza crust never fails! Yes I'm confident enough to make that statement. It is perfect for any type of pizza toppings, my favorite is the very simple marinara sauce and raw cheese. Friday night pizza's are a favorite tradition in my house! I hope you enjoy, let's get baking!



Ingredients:

  • 3 cups all purpose einkorn flour

  • 2 tsp active dry yeast

  • 1 cup warm water, ~100 F

  • 2 tbsp oil

  • 1 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, sprinkle the yeast over the water and whisk. Add the oil and salt, then whisk to combine. Then stir in the flour until just combined.

  2. Form the dough into a ball and place back into the large bowl.

  3. Cover with a tea towel or plate and let rise for 1 hour.

  4. Preheat the oven to 475 F.

  5. Spread the dough into a large rectangle (or two smaller circles) on a parchment lined or greased baking sheet (pizza stone works even better) and top with your favorite toppings.

  6. Bake 15-17 min. or until crust is golden.
