These crackers are the perfect way to use up your sourdough discard. They are super quick and easy to bake and will make a great snack during the week. With a bit of of a kick and lots of herbs, these crackers pair well with a nice raw cheddar, some grapes and a glass of wine. Let's get baking!

Yield: Varies depending on how much discard starter you are using
Prep: 5 min.
Bake: 30-45 min.
Ingredients:
3/4 cup discard sourdough starter (or as much as you have on hand)
2 tbsp grass fed butter, melted
1 tsp rosemary
1 tsp garlic
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
Sesame seeds for topping
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 325 F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Combine the sourdough starter and butter, mix well. Then add the spices and salt, mix to combine.
Spread the mixture onto the parchment paper with a spatula, spread nice and thin. Sprinkle the tops with sesame seeds.
Bake for 15 min. then remove from the oven and score. (I like to use a pizza dough cutter). Then place back into the oven and bake for an additional 15-30 min. The bake varies depending on how thin you spread the crackers. Check after 15 min., if they are browned around the edges they are done. Enjoy!
